Register for our training sessions
Take part in cyanobacteria monitoring
During the theoretical and field training sessions you can register for, you will learn how to recognize cyanobacteria and how to collect samples in the field. You will also learn how to use the digital tools designed to record and track cyanobacterial observations. Each participant receives a complete sampling kit and a methodological guide.
Training schedule
No trainings are planned at the moment.
General safety instructions
Training sessions emphasize safety: wear appropriate protective equipment and comply with local guidelines (distances, protected areas, swimming bans, etc.). Cyanobacteria can release toxins: avoid any skin contact and rinse immediately with water if accidental contact occurs.
Equipment used (e.g., spatula or tweezers) can be wiped with paper (to be disposed of in the trash) and then rinsed with water. After completing sampling, remove gloves from the inside out to avoid touching your skin. Dispose of gloves in a trash bin (do not reuse them).
